Was painted because my son telephoned me and asked me to paint two angels hugging. He wanted me to do this and put it into the D’Angeles Cafe where he was working. It took me a couple of months to conceive the idea and then to paint it in my studio in Vancouver. When I finished it, I suddenly put the marks on the bottom part of the canvas and so it was named ANGELS EMERGING. This was in 1998 and over the years three times it was almost sold. The last time, my son and I declared that this painting is now ours forever, not to be sold. That is why I am so happy to be able to share this with you in print form. It is a special reminder of our family and the love we share.
